Bought this bike about 9 months ago, a long overdue upgrade to an old Peugeot.. love it. I generally ride about 100 miles a week during the summer, 40 - 50 in the winter. I just dropped the bike off to have aero bars installed. Can't wait to hit the road again.

Used for cardio work out. Ride short to medium distance at fast pace. Not a con, but I am not used to the shifting. Learning on the fly and would not change a thing. The green color of the 2015 is fantastic. 1st Specialized bike and will never buy another brand.

Purchased the bike in 2011 and have put on over 1600 miles in the last 3 years. I don't get to ride as often as I like but when I do it's usually 10+ miles a day. I really enjoy the bike, it's a lot of fun to ride. It's fast, but not as fast as a road bike. Still it's a great all around bike.

I can be found primarily riding a Roubaix. I purchased the Sirrus as my slow-speed/fun/comfort bike. The Sirrus is very comfortable, a lot of fun, and actually can be quite fast, slow too when wanted or needed. Also rides well in the grass. I could actually see a much longer trip aboard now that I have a bike to mount racks upon. Honestly, I couldn't be any happier and I purchased the base model. PS- I did a lot of shopping beforehand and expected to pay much more to find what I now have.

I bought the specialized 13' sirrus basic model yesterday at my LBS. The staff was so nice and he explained every questions to me patiently. As I just had this bike for a day, I am not ready to give any comments regarding its durability and components yet. However, I have been in a good position to say that this bike is a great one. I tried it today with 16km riding in a windy (40kph) and cold weather (1-3C), with a lot of uphill sections. I did not feel any fatigue. The riding was so easy and gear changing was very smooth and fast. Compared to my mountain bike, the riding experience is completely different. This bike is very light, weighing only 25 pounds. I am confident that I can start to commute from Richmond Hill to Downtown Toronto every day from next Monday except the bad weather days. The only thing I want to complain is about the seat which caused me a bit sore after 16km riding. I am going to replace it with a softer seat or put a gel cover on it.

This Bike is truly amazing. I bought it so that I could ride it to school (3.5 mi away) and it handles beautifully! All the components work great and I would truly recommend buying this bike. This is also my first REAL bike, as my previous one was the department variety, but its not too expensive, and still handles like a pro. Rock on cyclists, and take your adventures to the cosmos frontier with this hot ride!

I bought this bike about a year ago because my mountain bike was too heavy for the hills and my road bike was too wimpy for the rough patches between my house and my favorite ride on the strand here in the [...] . No problems, super comfy. I ride about 80 miles/week.

I got this bike a week ago and it is incredible a huge change from what I had before. The guy's at the [...] store helped me out alot they spend the time to explain everything about the bike from the frame to the tires and everything in between a fantastic group. This was my first big bike, I went to other stores but I highly recommend this one for quality service and great info on whatever you need.

bought it in christmas after getting tired of poor [@] quality mongoose bikes. If you really plan to use it, it is definitely worth the jump in quality for a very reasonably price. Components are not space age, but are very good quality, and that translates in an efficient and smooth ride. You can ride on road for many miles without feeling tired at all. I'm not giving it the 5 stars here just because the front Alex rim came with a minor imperfection that had to be removed. Other than that, extremely happy with the decision of buying a specialized bike

I'm 61 years old and 250 lbs. I got into cycling this year to help remove some of the excess me. Pulled a 30 yr old [...]10 speed out of the attic and put 300 miles on it before it gave out. After researching I bought this bike and love it. It's light weight, fast and fun to ride. It has plenty of gears to flatten out the hills that I couldn't get up before. I've had the bike 5 days and put 45 miles on it. This is a great bike at a reasonable price.
