2016 Specialized CruX Elite Evo
Specialized's CruX Elite Evo is an all-conditions, all-roads monster. Its light, stiff FACT 10r carbon frame features internal cable routing to keep the muck out and loads of tire clearance so you can tackle the roughest gravel roads. Plus, the FACT-carbon fork boasts a tapered steerer for precision handling. Front and rear thru-axles help you hold your line, no matter how tricky the terrain. The compact 50/34-tooth chainrings are the center point of the Shimano 105 11-speed drivetrain, providing you with the right gearing for all day off-road adventures. The drivetrain pairs nicely with the hydraulic Shimano disc brakes for confident, smooth braking. And for even more on/off-road versatility, the CruX is spec'd with light, smooth DT Swiss wheels, fat, 38mm-wide Specialized tires, comfortable gel handlebar tape, and a bump-taming CG-R FACT carbon seatpost. Evo—it's so much more than just a cross bike.
