I bought this for my son (6yr old) and he loves riding it around the neighborhood because he can now keep up when we go out for a ride. Now that he has this bike I have also taken him on some beginner level single track and he rides 95% of the ride without having to walk the bike, the only down side is that it is a little heavy for such a small bike but the gears powers him through well

My parents bought this bike for me on my 9th birthday. I was very short back then (and still am) so this bike had fit my needs. First, It's very light, considering the bad department store steel frames I've had before. Second, it came with a simple drive train and simple parts. I don't really expect the fancy stuff. Third, it was versatile, even now, it was a hand-me-down to my sister and people were complementing it. Fourth, it's really dialed, I LOVED the geometry, even the stock saddle was comfortable! It was supposed to come with a RST fork but instead I saw an SR SUN-TOUR fork spec'ed on it. Anyways SUN-TOUR is better company. If you're child wants a great multi-geared bike start with this one. My parents said it was even worth the extra pay because I loved this bike so much!

My mom and dad bought me this bike on my 9th birthday. It was an excellent starter bike for me, but to be honest, I mostly rode it to school and occasional 20 mile rides. I handed it down to my sister when I turned 13 (I know right?!). I went to 20' to 26'! My sister is lucky though, because when she turned 12, she got a 24' bike, which I've wanted to get because my 20' bike was so small under-dialed for me at 11 years old :P. Anyways it was a great bike to ride before, at least it lasted all four years of not cleaning it and abusing it lol. But for some reason though, as I was looking at the specs, I saw that there is an RST fork instead of the SR-SUNTOUR fork I have spec'ed on my bike... Weird but oh well.

Bought this bike for my daughter when she finished KIndergarden. She figured out the hand brakes right away. This bike fits really well and is light and easy for her to control. Good for pavement with low-knob tires, but also capable off road. This bike will allow me to introduce her to a little mountain biking! (shh don't tell my wife)

My bike goes off road and it also can ride in tall grass, on trails and it can go up steep hills great. It is a very cool bike! I love my new bike!! Great for a 1st time gear bike.
