We bought this bike for our 7y old son. His heavy BMX bike was not good on our long (15-24mile) family fun rides or training rides. Our son loves the bike and has quickly learned how to ride it well. The bike has good geometery and is well set up. The only downside is that it is not a bike he can just bang around the playground on.
