The ultra low gearing helps on steep hills. Everything is built solid. The Grip shifters aren't bad as I originally thought. Quality seat post. Comfy seat. For the money, this bike is excellent!

This is my first Specialized bike and I have to admit I am impressed. The bike is fairly light and fast and very easy to ride. The Specialized Crossroads is solidly built. The staff at my LBS were knowledgable, friendly and courteous. I will definetely purchase another bike from my LBS.
