Description

Race day or training day, Felt's IA 2 gives you an unfair advantage over the competition. Taking full advantage of Felt's wind tunnel expertise, the heart of this triathlon bike is an exceptionally aero, high-modulus carbon frame with deep-section frame tubes and Felt's own integrated Dagger stem and fork to pierce the wind. Felt provides a pair of their own carbon deep-section rims and fast-rolling TTR tires to relentlessly trim down your ride time. Shimano's flawless Ultegra Di2 drivetrain is used to exceptional effect, with rapid, crisp shifts from the extensions or the bullhorns. And, since a comfortable rider is a strong rider, the IA 2 comes spec'd with a supportive ISM Tri saddle, a completely adjustable Felt Aero Tri seatpost, and Felt's carbon Dagger Ultimate base bar and f-bend extensions.

Felt Modular Monocoque construction

Felt's MMC (Modular Monocoque Construction) method is an advanced carbon manufacturing process that allows Felt to mold individual sections of a frame (see image above) prior to assembly. This allows each frame section to be optimized for its individual requirements before being fused together. The result is a frame with completely integrated joints that offer superior strength, durability and a refined appearance.
